There are always gaps existed in between the production of products and services that do not follow or comply with the universal standards of Islam. One should seek the window of opportunity to do something that is applying universal values that can be adopted by everyone and be spread as the application of international principles of Islamic economy, management and work ethics.
What were the challenges you had to overcome in the initial stages of starting your career?
The trust within and outside the company, especially from the networks, friends and colleagues and the initial team that was set up by own family members.
What is the most important thing you feel anyone needs to do to build a successful career in the Islamic Economy?
Understand the method to integrate work performance, local culture, business operation and the commitment towards quality in delivering products or services to customers. The total bundling of values enhances professionalism when applying and adopting universal Values, logic and common sense in any scope of the framework.
What were the most important learning experiences you would like to share?
There is no rush towards learning a subject matter related to the principles of Islam. There will always be an enhancement of knowledge and application of Islamic principles in whatever we do in every generation and century. We have to keep building the mission of shared prosperity in every subject of economy, science, humanity and technology.
What advice would you give aspiring leaders in the Islamic Economy?
No leader walks alone, there will be followers that builds the bridges for leadership to travel.
